Jesus is my Savior who guided me, not necessarily to worldly success but, to His light of hope. He is the One who faithfully abided with me where I had been abandoned in the darkness of grief. Where else could I seek such refuge for my soul with a friend who would help me in the end?
I belong to Jesus who belongs to me, not just for the years of time alone but, for eternity. I’d rather be led by His nail-pierced hand than be the king of a vast domain or be held in sin’s dread way. More than anything this world affords, I’d rather have my friend in Jesus who bears my pain to give me peace.
“For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” – Matthew 16:26 (NKJV)
MY PURPOSE
My purpose for this blog, my first book, and all else is purely for the means to further share the hope of my life that, in faith, has sustained me. My utmost desire is to do the good works that God would have us all do to lift one another up.
