The following words of encouragement by God have been on my heart to pass along to those of you who, in great tribulation, are weary and disheartened:
“‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.’” – Jeremiah 29:11 (NASB)
You are loved, my friend, with all of my heart as your brother in Christ and by God who all the more has loved you since before you were born. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” – Ephesians 2:10 (NASB)
To the congregation of First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas: May the Lord bless and keep you throughout your time of grief. My heart has prayerfully gone out to all of you since the day of the senseless attack. May the Spirit of revival be with you and bring you comfort as you seek the Lord’s strength to move forward.
Due to a heavy season in my primary vocation, I have been unable to write and post articles of late. Nevertheless, my heart’s desire has been to be here where I share the hope of my life; please pray for me that I may be more effective in my personal ministry. Now, more than ever, we who are Christians should be sharing the love of Jesus with all who are in search of His peace that passes all understanding. May His Church spiritually awaken throughout the land to make good of the time that He graciously makes for His children to come together.
