A Prayer: Lead Me, Oh God!

A bridge on a path bearing the caption, "Have faith! There IS a way!"

Lord, as I walk into another day, the trees around me cast long shadows by the early morning sun. There is so much darkness around me, but I am thankful for the occasional ray of light that brings me warmth.

Oh, God, I don’t know what I would do in this life without the light that You sent into the world. Your Son, Jesus, gave me the everlasting warmth of Your hope. No matter what lies ahead, I shall cling to what I found in Christ. I shall praise You with tear filled eyes, because You gave me the peace and joy to see me through my journey. Lead me, oh God, and apply me to Your will. I love You, Lord, with all of my heart. Be with me, as I am here for You. In Your precious and Holy name, Amen.

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day. The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know over what they stumble.” – See Proverbs 4:18-27 (ESV)

    1. Hi, Bella. I pray you are well today. I have been very busy at my day-job for the last few weeks. I have barely had time to come out here to write or interact. Stay in touch. I did find time today to write a post for the morning. I have been heavy in thought and prayer about recent matters in the news.

    1. Oh good. Glad to hear you got it already. I hope you enjoy it. Let me know if you don’t. I’ll make it right. You were the only one to purchase the book, but it meant a great deal to my dear. We’re going to make that donation to the ALS foundation, and she’s just very happy that her dad lives on through the book where I spoke of him. She sends her appreciation and regards your way. Looking forward to hearing from you again soon. I’m only posting about once a week at the moment. I work at a school. Things got abruptly busy this week. But I’ll be around. Many blessings to you and yours.

    2. Good evening. I have not been out here for a few weeks due to an enormous workload. I just wanted to check back with you to say hi, see how the book is going, and to let you know that I am still here. I actually have post going out in the morning that I have been itching to write for the last week.

      Many blessings to you,

      Jeff
