As someone who was born and has lived with the challenges that come with forms of blindness, I have been blessed to feel the enlightening touch of God’s unseen hand when He has reached out to direct me. To me, faith is as sight.
I shall evermore be thankful for the hyperacuity of God-given discernment that often keeps me from harm and distress. And I have come to trust that, sometimes, I must take a hit or go through something; when I have later reflected on such painful experiences, there were the eureka moments when I could see how God had worked to strengthen me for my own good.
“My son, let them not vanish from your sight; keep sound wisdom and discretion, so they will be life to your soul and adornment to your neck. Then you will walk in your way securely and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.” – Proverbs 3:21-24 (NASB)
I know, deep in my heart, this truth: I could not have survived without the interventions by God who saved me, nor could I have come this far without His divine guidance that led me through the darkest valleys.

I was looking last night for content by others whom I could discern a sincere heart for “the Hope.” I was delighted to come across some like-hearted writers like yourself.
I come with two other non-denominational Chaplains who have their own blogs but already have thousands of followers on Facebook. I am starting anew after finishing my book that I began a few years a ago, right after I transferred my site to a bigger ministry in California (I had over 1 million people and finally could not keep up with it, keep my day job, and write a book at the same time). But I am back now, looking forward to picking up where I left off, and then I would make more friends for this ministry (that’s how we all connected when they came to help me keep the old site from collapsing under its weight of correspondence). Hope is a basic need as much as food, water, and shelter … whether a person realizes or not.
I look forward to seeing more posts and engagement from you. Also, if you are new to this, please feel free to write if I may be of assistance.
